Policies Rental Terms and Conditions 1. AGE REQUIREMENT:  MUST BE 18 years of age to reserve or check into a room, all guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 2. PETS:   No pets are allowed in our lodge.  They are allowed in our cabins with a 50.00 per pet cleaning fee. 3. SMOKE-FREE:   Waubee Lake Lodge is proud to be a smoke-free resort. If any member of the staff suspects that any type of smoking has taken place in your room or cabin, a $200 fine will be applied to your bill. Smoking is ONLY allowed on the decks or patio of each unit. 4. RESERVATIONS:   Call to book.  A credit card is required to hold all reservations. Credit cards will be charged the Sunday before arrival.  A copy of the credit card will be on file should any damages or shortages occur in your unit. A complete inventory will be done in each unit upon departure and if there are shortages or damages, you will be notified and your credit card will be charged appropriately.  *Prices are subject to change 5. ADDITIONAL GUESTS/CHILDREN:  Children under 10 stay at no charge. Additional guests will be charged $20 per night plus tax. 6. MINIMUM STAYS:  There is a 2-night minimum required on weekends and holidays may require a 3-night minimum.  Some exceptions may apply. Please call. 7. EARLY DEPARTURE:   No refunds will be given for early departures (including due to illness) or additional guests cancelling.  Because we are located in the north woods, it is not uncommon to have brief power outages or inclement weather caused by Mother Nature. In this event, the restaurant, bar, and a portion of the lodge will be operating by generator.  These circumstances are beyond our control and no refunds will be given. 8. RESERVATION CANCELLATION:   Credit cards are charged the Saturday before your arrival. Cancellations before then will be fully refunded. Cancellations received after Saturday will be refunded ONLY if we are able to re-book your room/cabin, less a $25.00 cancellation fee (Including due to illness or other family matters) If you have multiple rooms/cabins booked a 7-day cancellation notice is required. 9. WIFI & CELL SERVICE is not guaranteed.  Service is often spotty due to amount of people, weather, and due to being located in the Naional Forest. 10. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES:   Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am. After you check-out you may continue to use the lake and lodge all day. *The Lodge Office is not staffed after 6 pm and you are responsible to make other arrangements with staff for late arrival by calling 715-276-6091 *Rates are subject to change * 3.5% surcharge will be aded to all credit card transactions.  Checks accepted at no charge.
